The BBG-SIU-SRC2 amplifies low-power synchro inputs into four medium-power synchro outputs, with custom configurations available. Designed for easy field installation, the SIU is factory-configurable to meet customer specifications and is available in both rack-mount and bulkhead-mount enclosures.
The BBG-SIU-SRC2 amplifies three synchro inputs into four medium-power synchro outputs, with custom configurations available.
The SIU is a standalone system designed to interface three low-power synchro input channels with four medium-power synchro output channels. It operates on 115V, 60Hz AC power and supports 115V AC references at both 60Hz and 400Hz.
The SIU accepts the following synchro inputs:
- 1X Heading: 90V, 400Hz
- 2X Roll: 90V, 400Hz
- 2X Pitch: 90V, 400Hz
It provides the following synchro outputs:
- 1X Heading: 90V, 400Hz, 25VA
- 2X Roll: 90V, 400Hz, 25VA
- 2X Pitch: 90V, 400Hz, 25VA
- 1X Heading: 90V, 60Hz, 25VA
Custom input and output configurations are available upon request.
Each output channel is protected against overcurrent and overheating, with built-in kick circuitry for enhanced control and reliability. Synchro data formats, power outputs, voltages, and frequencies are factory-configured to meet user specifications.
Typical applications include radar systems (antenna azimuth), navigation systems (gyrocompass, speed log, course, pitch, and roll), industrial processes (position and velocity control), and meteorological instruments (wind speed and direction).
